3 things you should know about HEALTHIER DESSERTS

1. When you use healthier, organic, natural ingredients, your finished dessert will most likely be lower in fat, less sugar, and surprisingly delicious.
2. Prepare yourself in times when it will be tempting to eat "not so good for you" pastries and such by either having healthier desserts that you have prepared in the freezer or maybe some you have bought. You can even make your own health food bars to take with you for these times.
3. Don't be fooled by low fat either. Most people have a tendency to overeat on these because they are just not filling or even satisfying.

Got a favorite recipe? Can't give up that chocolate? Or think you can't live without sugar? Sometimes to make a HEALTHIER DESSERT, you just need to change your favorite recipe with wholesome ingredients (by that I mean organic or whole wheat), or using less sugar, honey, etc.makes all the difference you need. My daughter-in-law makes an apple cake that is out of this world! But with my husband being diabetic I have to change things a bit. By using stevia or xzylitol in it, he can eat it and it still tastes wonderfull! Granted I had to experiment with the recipe to get it to taste right for our taste buds.
