Are you craving something sweet? But still want to eat something good for you? Try beets. Yeah I know. A vegetable that comes out of the ground? But think about this. Some of your sugar comes from beets. You know that white stuff that tastes so sweet and good in your desserts? I juiced some beets one day and was pleasantly surprised.
They are loaded with potassium, magnesium, beta carotene, and folate. These nutrients help fight cancer, good for the heart, helps blood pressure, your bones, and even helps in weight loss! You can put them in cakes and other baked goods also.
